Kimberly was a great friendly host, quick to respond if I had a question. I happened to drive there arriving a little early and she accommodated to let me in sooner. Her home was BEAUTIFUL with panoramic windows and peaceful therapeutic nature views, which was exactly what I needed/wanted for this trip. Less than 20
minutes to the cute Galena town and also close to grocery stores. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house, perfect for a girls trip! Everyone in the group loved it and we all immediately started planning our next visit. The kitchen was very well stocked and we were pleasantly surprised there was even a large selection of serving dishes. Overall amazing!

Kimberly and Dan were super friendly hosts and the place was a great spot for my friends and I to stay for a fun little ski weekend. If you’re a bird enthusiast, such as myself, the house is decorated to your liking, I promise. It is located in a lovely little spot as well. Highly recommend!

It was perfect! We hosted a weekend get away Bachelorette trip during the winter time. Themed “Snow in Love” of course, and we had the BEST time in this house. It was spacious, filled with board games, great appliances and cooking utilities, and had beautiful views of the woods. We had a two year old with us, we found the baby gates and baby toys VERY helpful. I love how Dan and Kimberly are so thoughtful and smart when filling the house with different things for every age group. Lastly- our favorite part of the house was the record player!!!! Such a great touch.

We had an amazing stay at the Treehouse! We stayed with friends and it was perfect for the adults to have their own bedroom and attached bathroom, and the third bedroom was great to accommodate 4 kids with their own bathroom. The photos and description were an exact match. The views from the living room were beautiful, and we had light snow falling, it was so peaceful. The house was stocked above and beyond for our stay. It included thoughtful touches for being pet friendly like extra towels , throw blankets, and even pet-friendly salt for the snow. Kimberly was very proactive with clear instructions which made check-in and check-out a breeze. I could see this being a great place to visit throughout all 4 seasons, and they have it full of entertaining things and games, both indoors and outdoors. It is not far from downtown Galena for restaurants and shops. The community pool access was perfect for kids. We had a great time and hope to come back again!

We traveled with 2 preteens. Everyone was happy with this well-equipped, thoughtfully organized, bright, and cozy space. The game room kept us busy when the weather dropped to 10. The house warm even before we put the electric fireplace to use. The kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked—everything you’d need and then some. The giant tub in the master bath has its own tv. The location is perfect, just a short drive away from skiing and downtown Galena.

This house had everything we needed for a perfect girls weekend getaway. Every room had an amazing view. We really enjoyed it so much. Our favorite things were the large sitting room surrounded by windows with a record player and cozy fireplace, the hot tub and wonderful stocked kitchen. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the memories 😊

Loved our stay here for New Years. Amazing space, very comfortable, and a quick drive into town. We had minor issues during our stay and the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. Only wish there were less checkout procedures (like having to take trash out.) Overall, well maintained and made our getaway feel like a destination.

We had a great holiday vacation at the Treehouse. The property itself is beyond beautiful - you sit nestled in the trees with huge windows. The house was clean (and we are particular), well stocked (lots of blankets, well-stocked kitchen, essentials for the stay (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, coffee, shampoo/conditioner/body wash), they had plenty to keep us entertained in the house (Roku TVs, games galore and a hot tub), and the amenities at the Owner's Club were great (we were there every day playing in the gameroom, swimming and using the fitness center).
Kimberly and Dan were highly responsive hosts. We had an issue with the propane and they got us an emergency refill within 12 hours (on Christmas Day). They kept us informed on the steps they were taking, the status of the refill service, and had the appliances lit and house checked. They proactively refunded us most of one day of our rental due to the inconvenience.
We have already discussed the next trip there!

Kimberly & Dan are incredible hosts! They are so responsive to any question or need that might come up, and the time, effort, and care they put into making their beautiful home feel like our home during the stay is incredible. They have thought of every detail so carefully to ensure that we have a relaxing, peaceful, and clean get away vacation. We have stayed at their property several times and plan to do so in the future as well!
